Robert trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG specialising in property and construction. He moved to a subsidiary of NatWest as Head of Finance responsible for redeveloping the NatWest Tower until disposal. In 1999 he joined Howard Holdings Plc (an international property developer) as UK Finance Director.
Between 2006 and 2009 he was responsible for building the property loan book of General Capital Group Plc from £2m to £10m. In December 2009 he orchestrated the purchase of General Capital’s property finance loan book and following successful shareholder investment in 2011 founded RQ Capital Ltd.
George is a qualified Chartered Surveyor, holds a master’s degree in Real Estate and has over 16 years of experience in the real estate industry. George established his career in London with leading global real estate companies, BNP Paribas and Cushman & Wakefield, where he was involved in high level corporate property transactions, corporate strategy, development consultancy and investment advisory.
In 2014, George moved with his family to Norfolk to work in a leading privately-owned commercial property company, Targetfollow. Here he specialised in the acquisition and management of investment and development properties in the UK. Following this George worked in the Savills’ Development Consultancy Team in Norwich where he specialised in development land disposal and strategic land advisory work. George brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the team at RQ Capital and is responsible for new development funding opportunities.
Stephen joined RQ Capital in 2016, as a qualified certified accountant he has worked in a variety of roles in Norfolk, since qualifying in 1993.
He is responsible for all elements of the day to day financial management of the company, including statutory reporting requirements and internal reporting for both directors and stakeholders.
Paula has worked in the financial services sector for 19 years almost a decade of that with RQ Capital. She is responsible for undertaking due diligence, drafting documentation, instructing professional bodies and assisting, while liaising between borrowers and solicitors.
Paula also contributes towards sourcing new business and is responsible for the day to day running of the office.
